Agave bed and breakfast Palermo

From the B&B, on foot, it is easy to get to all the most important tourist attractions: the “Teatro Massimo”, Via Maqueda, the “Teatro Politeama”, Piazza Pretoria, the four historic markets (Il Capo, A’vucciria, Ballarò and Borgo Vecchio), the “Quattro Canti” street corners, the Cathedral and the old Kassaro. You can walk around all the old streets in the old city with no problems at all.

The Agave B&B is in Via Cluverio, in one of the most highly-renowned areas of the city centre, Politeama, which takes is name from the Nineteenth-Century Theatre, which is also home to the Modern Art Gallery housing treasures by Nineteenth-Century and Twentieth-Century Italian and Sicilian artists, including Guttuso. The B&B is right behind the “Teatro Massimo”, one of the most important theatres in Europe, and right beside Porta Carini, one of the oldest gates in the city, leading to the popular Capo market.

The Agave B&B, then, is in the new Nineteenth-Century heart of Palermo, adjacent to Villa Filippina, one of the areas many parks, where you can still find works by Vito d’Anna and Vitaliano. The Villa is accessed from Piazza San Francesco di Paola, which takes its name from the convent and church from 1580.

Right nearby, you have Piazza Politeama where you can use all the public transport services for the fine areas surrounding Palermo: Monreale, Mondello, Addaura and so on. The B&B is near the port and just a few minutes from the main Train Station. From Politeama you can get to the airport at Punta Raisi.
